Company History
Scott Can Industries Ltd. started business in early 1998. Initially the company's main focus was the manufacture and sale of explosion proof catalytic gas infrared heaters for the oil and gas industry in western Canada. In 2000, Scott Can expanded its product base to include industrial ovens and process heating systems using its catalytic emitters as the heat source for this equipment. In 2004 Scott Can again increased its products to include two lines of explosion proof electric heaters and a line of catalytic related heat tracing equipment.
